Living lame duck and a dead madman.
Stop me if you’ve heard this one. A dead man walks into a bar with a lame duck and asks for a negotiation. O.K., maybe this isn’t a joke maybe it was how Korea got off the ‘axis of evil’ train. True to its strategy of not having high level political talks with nations we don’t like. Washington sent Christopher Hill to negotiate a deal with North Korea for the reinstatement of nuclear inspections.
In this orgy of diplomacy the 6 way talks netted each side what they wanted. This is a good thing evil, for lack of a better word, is bad. Anytime you get a chance to make a country not evil you should go for it. Quick question. We know who represented us but who was the yes man for North Korea.
Rumors have been going around for months that his high celestial majesty (or whatever he makes his people call him) Kim Jung Il is dead. He hasn’t been spotted for about two months. As crazy as he is he does like to be seen. So if he is dead who is calling the shots of our now favorite dictatorship?
Little details like this shouldn’t bother us though. As long we get what we want its best not to ask question. Right? All is well in the land of ostriches.

If it stops them from getting a nuke, then it’s all good by me.
